Annual General Conference:

Each year, FCP holds its annual general meeting of members and conference in a member City. The conference offers professional development workshops, an unparalleled opportunity to learn from and share with other Prides and excellent networking. Members in good standing of FCP receive a preferred rate on the costs of registering for the AGM/conference.

The 2013 conference is being hosted by Capital Pride in Ottawa, ON.

The 2012 conference took place March 16 – 18, 2012 in Kelowna, BC.

Information and Resources:

A key benefit of being part of the Fierté Canada Pride network is access to information, resources and mentorship from other Prides across Canada. This is especially useful to less developed Prides that are poised to enter a growth phase – it’s likely that there are other Prides who have gone through similar experiences and can share the benefit of their experiences.

FCP Scholarship Program:

Each year, based on available budget, members in good standing of FCP are eligible to apply for scholarships to help defray the costs of attending the AGM/Conference.We encourage members to make donations to the Scholarship program.

Insurance:

We are pleased to offer members in good standing the following Liability Insurance discount program through our exclusive supplier, K&K Insurance Company of Canada:

• FCP Members: 10%

• InterPride Members: 10%

• Members of both organizations: 25%

Discussion Forums:

Share your thoughts with other members of FCP. Once you have confirmed your membership, log into the website and in the members only area you can share your comments with other member organizations.

Promotion of your Events:

Members can have all of their events promoted through FCP’s Website, Newsletters, Facebook and Twitter .
